A few Idioms, etc., an anecdote (crossed out), and a note that William Thomas, Mason of Llanblethlan, 'was the first who invented the Glamorgan stone pools on Farms and in Farmyards'. On the reverse side (crossed out) are some lines of verse beginning, 'Ye Travellers that visit Wales' (recommending the Horse and Groom at Cowbridge). Torn.

A few miscellaneous items, including letters, a list of twelve MSS, etc. in the possession of J. R. Hughes, 1933, and memoranda transcribed from a 1620 Bible belonging to Mr Arthur E. Morris, Plas Deon, Llanuwchllyn, in 1956. Of the MSS mentioned in the list, six were purchased by the Library in 1933 (NLW MSS 4341-4346) and another two are in the present collection (Nos 7 and 127). Other miscellanea include four ff. of a 16th century religious MS in (?) Flemish and a letter, 1925, from R. Morton Nance, Carbis Bay, Cornwall.
