A farm account book, 1786-1792, the property of the late Mrs C. Jones, wife of the Reverend H. Jones, vicar of Penmark, Cowbridge, containing miscellaneous farm and household accounts, culinary and household recipes, etc.

A farmer holding a Patagonian conure (Cyanoliseus patagonus) by it's right wing. The farmer is holding a stick in his right hand on which the bird is perched. This may be the incident mentioned on page 148 of 'A Wider Sky' (Gomer1991). See also slide 4689/160.
