Printers' copy and proofs, bearing author's corrections, of the American paperback edition of Vernon Watkins' Selected poems (1966); exercise book containing a few notes in Greek by Vernon Watkins, [1920s]; certificate of Honorary D.Litt awarded to him by the University of Wales, 1966; and photocopies of two press cuttings, 1984, relating to the poet, being letters from Mrs Gwen Watkins. Calvert Richard Jones, photographic pioneer, describing his visit to Malta during the winter of 1845-1846 and containing his observations on evidence in favour of St Paul's shipwreck having occurred in Malta (ff. 98-101); and a copy of a special typescript issue of the North Wales Chronicle, 6 May 1926, outlining the state of the country during the general strike of 1926 (ff. 102-3).
