Michael Reakes-Williams, containing personal news (ff. 2-6, 10 verso-13); together with two to him from Alan Clodd of the Enitharmon Press, 1972 (ff. 15-16), and one each from Peter Jones and Meic Stephens of the Welsh Arts Council, 1972 (ff. 17-18), all concerning Chamberlain.
Included in the Chamberlain letters are ink sketches relating to a visit to Schleswig-Holstein, West Germany, in 1958 (f. 4 recto-verso), a typescript poem commissioned by the Welsh Arts Council, 1971 (ff. 12-13), and greetings cards designed by her (ff. 2-3, 5-6). Also included are a pen and ink sketch of a woman on horseback, [?1949], and a pen and watercolour drawing of a fish, 1949, both by Chamberlain (f. 1 recto-verso); a programme for a dance recital at the Lamda Theatre Club, [?1964] (ff. 7-10); and a copy letter, 16 January 1959, from Reakes-Williams to a Mrs Armstrong on behalf of Chamberlain (f. 14).

Also included is a letter, 11 October 1950, to Caitlin Thomas from her domestic help, Dolly Long of Laugharne (ff. 31-32). There are numerous references to Dylan Thomas (ff. 1 verso-10 passim, 19, 20 27 verso) and his funeral (ff. 43-44) and to Caitlin (in addition to her own letters) (ff. 36 verso, 44-54 passim). Papers, 1980-1990 (mostly 1987-1988), including correspondence, leaflets, and newspaper cuttings, relating to the CND national 'Snowball' campaign which started in 1964, especially the non-violent direct action taken by George Crabb and Carole Harwood at the Royal Ordnance Factory, Llanishen, Cardiff, in 1987, and their legal defence; the two were among the first protestors involved in the 'Snowball' campaign to be cleared of attempting to cause criminal damage under the Criminal Damage Act, and their defence set a precedent for other civil disobedience campaigns.

Twelve holograph poems by Waldo Williams, [1956] (ff. 1-10), written down from memory with the encouragement of Prof. J. Gwyn Griffiths and Dr Kate Bosse-Griffiths at their flat in 1 Eaton Crescent, Swansea; with the exception of 'Arfau' (ff. 6 verso-7), all the poems appeared in the volume Dail Pren (Llandysul, 1956). Also included are page proofs of the first typesetting of Dail Pren prepared by Gwasg Gomer in June 1956 (ff. 11-103), arranged by the poet with the help of Prof. Griffiths and Dr Bosse-Griffiths and including a few manuscript emendations in the hand of Prof. Griffiths.
The first typesetting differs significantly from the first published version of November 1956, with the poet having omitted twenty of the sixty-three poems and added twenty-three new poems.

Seventeen letters, 1788-1791, 1803-1812, from the Rev. Thomas Burgess, bishop of St David's and later of Salisbury, to the Classical scholar, the Rev. Charles Burney, mainly concerned with the publication of Greek and Latin texts (ff. 1-29); together with six letters, 1816-1818, from Burgess to the Rev. Liscombe Clarke, later Archdeacon of Salisbury, relating to the compilation of diocesan returns for the see of St David's (ff. 30-41).
Two further letters, 1826, to an unnamed correspondent, concern versions of the New Testament and academic matters (ff. 42-45). There are references to a number of writers and Classical scholars including Daniel Albert Wyttenbach (ff. 1 recto-verso, 2 verso) and Thomas Twining (ff. 4-5, 9), and to the funeral of Thomas Warton (f. 6).
