A notebook containing 'Family and Personal Miscellanea' in the hand of Charles Bowen (1809-82), rector of St. Mary-on-the-Hill with Upton, Cheshire. It was begun in 1838 and contains pedigrees showing the descent of Charles Bowen from the family of Bowen of Gurrey, Carmarthenshire, and a few personal press-cuttings, 1821-[44] (e.g. a report of a sermon preached by him at the opening of the new church of Llanvihangel-Rhydithon, Radnorshire, 1838).
