Papers relating to Tabernacl (Wesleyan) Methodist Chapel, Tontine Street, Swansea, including copies of Financial Statements sent to the District Meetings, 1822-32; receipts to Richard Rowe, 1824-25; copy of application for grant from Chapel Fund, 1832; a letter from Richard Rowe, Oxwich, dated 12 June 1838, to Dr [Jabez] Bunting [at the District Meeting], Swansea, re his part as trustee; invoices for furniture and furnishings for minister's house and chapel, 1831-82; an account book containing the accounts of Watkin Morgan re Minister's house, 1839-41; a notebook containing accounts of collections, 1851-53; a certificate for registering as a place of public worship, 1854; letters and accounts re sale of chapel, 1882-84. (2) Papers relating to the (Wesleyan) Methodist Chapel, Neath Abbey, including a copy of John Beal's lists of subscribers, 1824, a note book containing an account of payments made by Watkin Morgan, 1830-19, and a list of subscriptions, 1834-35. (3) Papers relating to the (Wesleyan) Methodist Chapel, Aberafan, being two copies of the Sanction of the Chapel Building Committee, Manchester [1839]. (4) Papers relating to the (Wesleyan) Methodist Chapel, Gurnos, including two copies of the Sanction of the Chapel Building Committee, Manchester, 1839; receipts 1844, 1851; certificate for registering as a place of public worship, 1854; and a statement of the account of the sale of the chapel, 1856.
