An account, 1785, by Thomas Payne (1759-1832) entitled A Parochial Visitation of the Deanery of the Third Part of Brecon containing an Account of the several Churches, Edifices, Glebe Lands and Benefactions thereunto belonging ... With some few Topographical Remarks on the Country, and the Antiquities to be found therein ... This account is accompanied by drawings of churches and a transcript of a letter, 22 April 1760, from Lewis Morris (1701-1765) to Edward Richard (Iorwerth Rhisiart) (1714-1777) relating to Geoffrey of Monmouth's (1100?-1154) Historia and its Welsh sources.

Scroggs's speech to the Lord Chancellor upon his receiving his commission of Judge of ye Court of Common Pleas, 1678'; 'a panegyrick on Oliver Cromwell by Mr. Waller, 1655'; and two songs by Thomas Durfey beginning 'Remember yee Whiggs wt was formerly done' and 'Now at length the riddle is expounded'.
Parliamentary Papers of Speaker Williams
A collection of printed Votes of the House of Commons, 21 October 1680-10 January 1681 (ff. 26-100), and 21-28 March 1681 (ff. 130-136), together with other printed parliamentary acts, speeches, and proclamation, all kept and some annotated by William Williams, Speaker of the House of Commons, and MP for Chester.
Significant manuscript additions by Williams include notes on his election as Speaker on 21-22 October 1680 (ff. 21-23), on the sudden dissolution of the Oxford Parliament on 28 March 1681 (ff. 137), and on his later career, 1687-1694 (f. 138). Corrections on the printed papers in the Speaker's hand appear on ff. 48, 50, 56, 87, 93, 126-8, 131.
