David Lloyd George (1863-1945)) to his uncle, Richard Lloyd (1834-1917), of the 1909 Finance Bill, popularly known as the People's Budget, being a copy of the Bill as first introduced into the House of Commons. A holograph essay on 'Addysg yn Nghymru: Yn gosod allan ansawdd bresenol a neillduolion yr addysg a weinyddir; awgrymiad at ddiwygiad; yn nghyda'r pwysigrwydd o gysylltu Ysgolion Elfenol a'r sefydliadau Gramadegol a'r Colegau' written by 'Ofydd' [i.e., Hugh Pritchard, Llannerch-y-medd, co. Anglesey], and submitted for competition at the National Eisteddfod at Caernarfon [1880]. Bound in at the end of the volume is a cutting, from Baner ac Amserau Cymru, of the adjudication of Thomas Powell [sic], [University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire, Cardiff]. One half of the prize money was awarded to 'Meurig ap Iorwerth' ( Mr. M. E. Morris, Minffordd, Portmadoc, co. Caernarvon).

The Welsh Quoits Archive, comprising material relating to British quoiting, the majority of the material relating to quoiting in Wales, including: match programmes, posters and flyers, match listings and statistics; rules and regulations of quoiting; press cuttings relating to quoiting matches, quoiting clubs and club members; newsletters; correspondence between quoiting clubs, between individual club members and between clubs and members of the public; items relating to notable quoiting club occasions such as centenaries and anniversaries; and miscellaneous material relating to quoiting, including information relating to the history of the game. The bulk of the material relates to quoiting in Wales, mainly involving international matches (the majority of which were against Scotland) played on Welsh soil. One particularly notable item is a copy of a printed booklet titled The History of Quoits in Wales by Albert Baker (published by J. R. Davies in 1949), which is enclosed with a letter, 14 December 2000, to Linda Evans, Joint Secretary of the Welsh Quoiting Board, from Darryl Baker, grandson of the author (see under heading Quoiting: Wales: Correspondence: Letters to Linda Evans).

Papers of Sir David Rowe-Beddoe, later Baron Rowe-Beddoe of Kilgetty, businessman and life peer who was a crossbench member of the House of Lords from 2006 until his death in 2023. His numerous public roles included being chairman of the Welsh Development Agency from 1993 to 2001, appointed chairman of the Wales Millennium Centre in 2001 and made a Life President in 2010, chairman of the Representative Body of The Church in Wales from 2002 to 2012, appointed president of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2004 having previously been a governor and chairman of the board (1993-2004).

The diary, 1839-1841, of Sarah Pahud (née Walker), daughter of a Dolgellau family and wife of Henri Pahud, a Swiss born Paris businessman. The diary is written in English and French.
Pahud describes her honeymoon tour with her husband through France (English, pp. 1-8), Italy (French, pp. 8-30), Switzerland (French, pp. 31-46) and Germany (French, pp. 46-51), April-June 1839; a journey from Paris to Manchester via Dover and London, October 1839 (French, pp. 52-56); and a visit to her family in Dolgellau, travelling via Paris, London and Chester and returning via Birmingham and London, June-September 1841 (English, pp. 56-96). She also visits friends in Barmouth (pp. 75-79) and Ruthin (pp. 80-87) and describes the consecration service of St David's Chapel, Denbigh, 27 August 1841 (pp. 84-85). There are references to Frédéric Chopin and George Sand, with an eyewitness account of Chopin's perceived state of health, 3 May 1839 (pp. 7-8). There are also a few further miscellaneous memoranda, [1858] (ff. 114, 184).

Additional papers (2023 donation) comprise three letters, 1933 and 1935, from Richard Bennett, two of which were sent to the donor's grandmother, Mrs Elizabeth Hughes, together with a notebook containing an address by him, 1934, on the occasion of the bicentenary of Melinbyrhedyn Chapel.
