A Bundle of papers belonging to Evan Parry Jones, Manager to the Diphwys Casson Slate Company, consisting of reports and drafts of reports by him on various slate quarries including the Glynrhonwy and Cambrian Quarries, Llanberis, 1873, the Llyn-y-Gadair Quarry, Rhyd-ddu, 1881, the Bugail Slate Quarry, Ffestiniog, 1887, the Cwmorthin Slate Quarry, Ffestiniog, 1889, with a copy of a report by J. Brunton on the same quarry, 1883, Blaen-y-Cwm Slate Quarry, Penmachno, 1889, and the Snowdon Slate Quarry, near Rhyd-ddu, 1902. There is also material relating to the Dolgoed Quarry near Aberllefenni, the Llanllechid Mountain Slate Property, and the Clogwyn-y-Gwin Quarry, near Rhyd-ddu, together with printed matter relating to the Diphwys Casson Slate Company, Limited, and the New Welsh Slate Company, Limited. Also in the group are copies of two letters, 1883, from Thomas Jones, The Anchor Hotel, Coblenz, to A. M.
