Transcripts, [early 19th cent.] (watermark 1803), in an unknown hand, of odes, ballads, dialogues and satirical letters of English political interest, composed by Sir Charles Hanbury Williams in the period 1732-1745.
With the exception of 'To Kitty Walker' (f. 62), all the works appear, with mostly minor variations, in The Works of the Right Honourable Sir Chas. Hanbury Williams..., 3 vols (London, 1822). The contents list (f. i recto-verso) includes titles of additional poems, after f. 119, which were subsequently cut from the volume.

They include a notice of promotion to be one of the Inspectors of the Metropolitan Police Force, 29 April, 1844; an invitation, 14 August, 1847, under the signatures of magistrates of the county of Carmarthen, to discharge the duty of goaler till the Quarter Sessions; a certificate of good conduct in the Metropolitan Police Force, 1 September, 1847; a holograph letter, 4 November, 1847, from Charles Bishop, Llandovery, enclosing a copy of the order for the recipient's appointment as county gaoler and governor; eighteen holograph letters, 4-17 November, 1854, from visiting magistrates of Carmarthenshire and others, supporting his application for a similar post in the county of Middlesex; a printed statement of accounts, 21 January, 1870, between George Stephens, late treasurer, and the members and congregation of Zion Calvinistic Church, Carmarthen; a printed 'in memoriam' card of David Price Davies of Pumpsaint, 1874; and a holograph letter, 17 November [1876] from C.
