'Y Rhufeiniaid ym Mhrydain', a typescript translation into Welsh by the Reverend Awstin Maximilian Thomas (d. 1990), Brynsiencyn, of the Latin text of R. W. Moore, The Romans in Britain. A Selection of Latin Texts (London, 1937), together with a related letter, 1982, from Gerallt Lloyd Owen, Gwasg Gwynedd (NLW ex 1430); and his typescript translation from Latin into Welsh of the sixty-two letters of Saint Augustine in J. H. Baxter, St Augustine, Select Letters (London, 1930) (NLW ex 1431).

A copy of an address in Welsh delivered by Dr Douglas A. Bassett at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Ceredigion, Aberystwyth, relating mainly to John Karan Evans ('Jack Evans', 1907-91), the first president of the National Society of Welsh Americans established in 1980.

An indexed volume entitled 'Rough Methods of Analysis' containing diagrams and explanations of chemical methods and processes used in the steel industry, principally compiled by J. H. Ridsdale, Middlesbrough. It includes a letter, 1907, from Arthur Caddick, Lincoln, to 'Jack' (probably J. H. Ridsdale) concerning 'the Sulphur method'. The volume was passed down to generations of workers at the Port Talbot steel works.

A bound copy, entitled 'Llef y Proffwydi', of the pamphlet by Saunders Lewis and Lewis Valentine, Paham y Llosgasom yr Ysgo1 Fomio (Caernarfon, 1936), inscribed by Lewis Valentine, 4 Dec. 1936, and including a pasted-in photograph of Saunders Lewis, Lewis Valentine and D. J. Williams, and related press cuttings.
