The first deposit of the records of the Conservative Party (Wales), comprising minutes of committees, 1937-1986, and printed ephemera relating mainly to the 1992 and 1997 general elections.

A second large group comprising 78 large boxes and 2 volumes were received in September 2012, which includes a most substantial archive of records generated by the Welsh Conservative Party, c. 1950-2010, but mainly from the post-1990 period. Many derive from parliamentary, local, European and National Assembly elections, and relate to candidate selection and the conduct and progress of the various election campaigns. Other records derive from the internal administration of the party, its various committees and working parties (including agenda and minutes), its annual and ad hoc conferences, general correspondence, and events and functions in the Welsh constituencies, including letters and reports from local agents. There are also copies of the party's many publications and some financial records. Other papers relate to the relationship with the Conservative Party nationally . This group was a donation, and has not as yet been catalogued. Board minutes, donated by Mr Lyndon Jones, the former Chairman of the Conservative Party Wales are under Embargo for a period of 30 years from the date of each individual meeting.

A volume, written in two eighteenth-century hands and one nineteenth-century hand, containing transcripts of statutes and injunctions relating to Hereford Cathedral and its associated establishments, made and given by Edward VI, Elizabeth I and Charles I.
The transcripts include 'Consuetudines et Statuta Herefordensis Ecclesiae', [16 cent., first ½] (ff. 1-19); injunctions issued by Edward VI, 1547 (ff. 21-23 verso), and [Richard Pates], Bishop of Worcester, 1556 (ff. 24-26); 'Injunctiones sive Statuta Eccl[es]iae Cathedralis Hereford:...', 1583 (ff. 27-51 verso); 'Carolus Rex... Statuta Ecclesiae Cathedralis Herefordensis...', 1637 (ff. 65-86, 90 verso-93 verso); injunctions relating to St Ethelbert's Hospital, Hereford (ff. 102-106); and 'Injunctions or Statutes which... regard the Vicars Choral, Ministers, and others…', dated 1820 and 1871 (ff. 117 verso-120 verso). Printer's copy, 1828, of a satirical song entitled 'Conversation Between the Bridewell and Town Hall. A Parody on The Celebrated Comic Chant, called The Monument and St Paul's'. The song, possibly unpublished, was written by J. D. Burall, cabinet maker, and sung by him at the Festival of St John's in the Indefatigable Beaufort Lodge, Swansea, and was arranged for piano by Mr Louis Barree, Professor of Music, Swansea.
The title page (f. 1) contains a wash drawing depicting the old Guildhall, Swansea, the Bridewell (prison), Swansea, and a night watchman.
