The latter was an independent school which was governed by a joint committee of representatives of Siloh Wesleyan Methodist Church, Clatter, Saron Calvinistic Methodist Church, Pont-dol-goch, and Seion Congregational Church, Llanwnnog. The committee first met on 22 September, 1905, and the school was recognized by the Board of Education as from 22 March, 1906.

There are also references to Laurie Lee (f. 16 verso), Anthony Devas (f. 23 verso), Louis MacNeice (f. 45 verso) and Daniel Jones (f. 47 verso).
