A photostat facsimile, [?early 20 cent.], of a manuscript of the 1780s (now NLW MS 14402B), mostly in the autograph of Humphrey Jones ('o Gastell Caereinion'). It contains poems in free metre by John Thomas ('o bentre'r Fidog'), Sion Abel, Robert Evan ('o Feifod'), David Evans ('o'r Coed Bychan ymhlwy Llanfair ynghaereinion'), Morus ap Robert, and Huw Llwyd Cynfal; a transcript of 'Histori Nicodemus'; 'Ymddiddanion a fu Rhwng Adrian Ymerodor Rhufain ag Epig ddoeth'; a remedy for 'the King's Evil'; etc.

Copies of Robert Graves, Goodbye to All That (London, 1966) and The Rubaiyyat of Omar Khayaam, trans. by Robert Graves and Omar Ali-Shah (London, 1967), both with manuscript inscriptions by Graves, dedicating them to Owen Roberts who saved Graves's life at High Wood, 20 July 1916, during the Somme offensive, when both were officers with the Royal Welch Fusiliers.

Correspondence, 1976-1978 and 1985, between John Jenkins, a member of staff at Llandovery College, and editor of the school journal during the 1970s, and the Rev. T. H. Ward Hill, former master at the school and editor of the journal, 1924-1948, together with notes and an article by Rev. Hill for the centenary edition of the School Journal in 1977. The file includes an endowment deed for the Thomas Phillips Foundation at Llandovery, dated 25 August 1847.

Notebook, 1914-1916, kept by Nursing Sergeant Davies of 'C' section of the 130th (St John) Field Ambulance unit, attached to the 38th (Welsh) Division of the British Army. It includes a diary, November 1914-June 1916 (ff. 1-12), describing duties in Britain before embarkation for France on 3 December 1915, and subsequent activities on the Western Front prior to the Battle of Mametz Wood.
A draft application for an army commission (ff. 45, 46 verso) suggests that Sergeant Davies was a native of Carmarthenshire and a former miner. The notebook also contains medicinal recipes (ff. 13-14, 44 verso, 45-6), ration tables (ff. 8 verso-9, 14), and poetry in both English and Welsh (ff. 22 verso-23, 31-44, 49-53). An additional folio, tipped into the volume (f. 16a), contains further diary entries, October 1916, and suggests the existence of a second volume, subsequently lost.

The file comprises eleven notebooks containing research notes on the life and times of Owain Glyndwr by Llwelyn Slingsby Bethell, together with a typescript study entitled 'Owain Glyn Dŵr and the Defence of Wales, 1400 to 1416'.
