Archive of the Cambrian Coast Line Action Group comprising papers created and collected during the campaign to prevent the closure of the Cambrian Coast railway line between machynlleth and Pwllheli and to improve services an the line along with the archive of the Welsh Railways Action Group, formed in 1971 to co-ordinate between various railway campaigns in wales and to campaign for improvements to the Welsh railway network as a whole and papers and publications relating to local rail campaign groups in west Wales, along the Heart of Wales line and in the Wrexham area.

Papers of the Bonsall family of Fronfraith, 1674-1919, comprising manuscripts, 1785-1891; deeds, plans, and particulars of sale relating to the Galltyllan estate in the parishes of Machynlleth, Penegoes and Darowen, Montgomeryshire, 1674-1919; a much smaller number of deeds relating to the Fronfraith estate in Cardiganshire, 1790-[early 1900s]; and precedent books, [early 19 cent.].

Fourteen letters to the Reverend David Jones, Aberystwyth, from Euros Bowen, 1952 and 1962, W. J. Gruffydd, 1952, and Waldo Williams, 1962, his co-adjudicators in the competition for the crown at the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Aberystwyth, 1952, and the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Llanelli, 1962.

Nine letters, 1782-1784, from [the Rev.] E[dward] Owen of Warrington, schoolmaster and translator, to John Blackburne, Chester, mainly concerning points of difficulty in translating Classical Latin authors.
Owen comments on the works of Livy (ff. 1, 3 recto-verso, 5 recto-verso, 7 recto-verso), Horace (ff. 9-10, 12) and Catullus (ff. 12-13, 14-15). He also discusses a variety of subjects including Roman land measurement (f. 1 recto-verso), Roman coins (ff. 1 verso, 3 verso-4), Roman numerals (f. 16) and the arrangement of rowers in Roman ships (ff. 16 verso-17). Although apparently living in Chester at this time, John Blackburne's family owned Orford Hall, near Warrington, and he was elected MP for Lancashire in 1784.

Papers of Sir David Rowe-Beddoe, later Baron Rowe-Beddoe of Kilgetty, businessman and life peer who was a crossbench member of the House of Lords from 2006 until his death in 2023.
