A folder containing letters and telegrams relating to the application and appointment of Morgan Watkin as Professor of French Language and Literature at University College of South Wales and Monmouthshire, Cardiff in 1920, together with a copy of his application and testimonial and agreements. Also included are some letters relating to his career at the University, 1929-1931.

Letters written from and addressed to others with reference to Morgan Watkin. Included are letters from H. S. Syrett during the First World War and J. S. Godin relating to a dinner held in honour of Morgan Watkin in 1932.
