Amongst the shipping records there are papers, 1833-1879, relating to the Newport schooners 'Harmony','Claudia' and 'Adroit', and the Milford brig 'Anne'.

Papers relating to the schooner Harmony of Newport, comprising account books, 1836-9 and 1842-8, of payments of profits to shareholders (12/1-3); receipted bills, 1867-76, mainly payments for insurance, repairs and equipment (13/1-66); and miscellaneous documents and letters, 1833-79, including insurance policies, 1833-44 (14/1-3), certificate of registry at Milford, 1854 (the vessel was built at Newport and originally registered at Cardigan in 1838) (14/4), and a letter, 1879, stating that she had keeled over when laid up at Milford (14/7).
