Files of notes, transcripts and indexes of various Welsh genealogical manuscripts, as part of Dr Bartrum's genealogical research. Also the manuscript to the first ten volumes of his 'Welsh genealogies 1400-1500 AD' (1983).

Files of edited transcripts, mainly in draft form, of Welsh genealogical material and pedigrees from NLW Peniarth MSS 131-133, 137 and 176-178, which formed part of Dr Bartrum's genealogical research c.1967-c.1983.

Notes and transcripts of BL Add. MSS 15017-15018. The notes include that pp. c.170-400 appears to represent Peter Ellis's "Ell" MS, "Evan Lloyd Jeffreys Book in folio, lent me by Mr Davies". The BL catalogue describes the MSS as "Genealogies of the principal families of Wales; transcribed by Owen Jones from a MS in the library of Mr Johnes of Havod Ychtryd, in 1799. In two volumes. At the end of the second volume are added, by Hugh Maurice, 'The arms of the princes, noblemen, and gentlemen of Wales', in colors, with an index. Folio."

Notes and transcripts of Harleian MS 1935 (S∆). The introductory notes include "An old paper book in 4to. wherein is contained a collection of Welsh pedigrees; narratively drawn up in the Welsh language [Catalogue of Harleian MSS]". Arranged in two files, ff. 2-50 and 50v-108v.

Notes and transcripts of Harleian MS 2300, part 2 (SF), ff. 101v-193. The introductory notes include "fo. 100 begins a new volume, parts of which are badly torn and others out of order. The hand is of the ornate secretary type. Seems to be TJC see Carms 66. [...] The material is closely related to that in Harl. 5835 and Llyfr Baglan. Also Harl. 5058..."

Notes, transcripts and indexes to Peniarth MS 127 part 1 (pp. 1-256 = Hengwrt 194) and part 2 (pp. 257-288 = Hengwrt 443). The introductory notes include that part 1 is "written mainly in 1510 by 'Syr' Thomas ap Ieuan ap Dafydd [...] but pp. 202 onwards dated fom 1523", and of part 2, "in Pen. 177 p. 252 (left margin) it is called Llyfr Katrin Owain ...".
