Amongst the items are: A great Bible; a Booke called Mr Jarome's Lectures, and a Deske for the Booke; In the Lodge at the Warren - Six Pursonetts to catch coneys - a wood knife - a shoulder knife - a crosse bowe - six arrowes and six arrow-heads - two Welsh hooks, etc. In the Beere and Wine Seller- Eight and twenty hogsheads and a three quarter hogshead, sixe small barrels - Fower drinking hornes, etc. In the deary [dairy] - Two churnes for butter - A chese presse - ten cheese - fates - two paire of wooden cheese-tongs, etc. The Linen - Plate - Armour - corn in barns - Livestock. Hay etc. & Timber is also valued, Item - in ready money £948. 1. 2; In debt sperate -- £2804. 8. 4.; In debts desparate -- £87. 1. 6. The total valuation is -- £8337 7s. 3d. At the end is an inventory of goods "Att and belonging to Somerby in the possession of Edward Dodington, gent., sonne of the said Sir William Dodington". There is added a similar rental of the lands which belonged to the said Rees and afterwards to Katharine, late Countess of Bridgewater, for her life. At the foot are two memoranda concerning certain lands not mentioned in the Roll which owing to "defaulte of heirs male of the bodie of Griffith Rees [sic] esq." have reverted to the Crown.
