The pedigree was in the possession of Whitehall Dod of Llanerch in about 1868 (see Miscellanea Genealogica et Heraldica, ed. by Joseph Jackson Howard, 2 vols (London, 1868), I, p. 185; however it is not recorded by Alfred J. Horwood in 'The Manuscripts of Whitehall Dod, Esq., of Llanerch, St. Asaph', Historical Manuscripts Commission, Appendix to the Third Report (1872), pp. 258-260).

Scope and content
Pedigree roll with achievement of Thomas Humphreys of Bodelwyddan, dated 24 July 1660, compiled by Griffith Hughes, containing sixty-three other fully painted coats of arms, all impaled.
The pedigree traces Humphreys's lineage, in both the male and female lines, back six generations to sixty-four ancestors; their names and additional information are individually enclosed in a frame design, four abreast, at various points throughout the pedigree. All other individuals have their names enclosed in circles. The pedigree is organised so that Humphreys's maternal ancestors occupy the upper half of the pedigree and his paternal ancestors the lower half. His siblings and wife are also recorded, without heraldry; however since Thomas Humphreys and Elizabeth Davies of Gwysaney were not married until August 1665 (see E. A. Ebblewhite, 'Flintshire Genealogical Notes', Archaeologia Cambrensis, 5th ser., 11 (1894), 297-307 (p. 298)) his wife at least must be a later addition. The achievement, which is not quartered, is placed in the lower right-hand corner. The pedigree is transcribed (with the arms blazoned) in Miscellanea Genealogica et Heraldica, ed. by Joseph Jackson Howard, 2 vols (London, 1868), I, pp. 185-190.
