System of arrangement
The files are arranged chronologically within four series: Gregynog Press papers, committee papers, office administration papers and publication production papers. The publications are arranged according to their year of publication.
The records were originally arranged in about 150 paper parcel files, other loose and boxed files, six drawers of filing cabinet hanging files, and other loose material. The first of the parcel files were numbered 1-106; no's 26 and 87 not found, although a number of the remaining parcel files had lost their labels. The files have been preserved, while the loose material has been collected into appropriate files.

Note
Mr Vickers, born David, appears to have used David and Dafydd interchangeably externally, and at least in later years appears to have used Dafydd consistently within Gwasg Gregynog. This list has standardised on Dafydd.
