Scope and content

The file comprises papers which relate to an anthology of Anglo-Welsh poetry which Gwasg Gregynog intended to publish. Glyn Jones was invited to select poems for the volume and write an introductory note. The papers consist of lists and photocopies of selected poems, and correspondence, 1979-1983, mostly between Glyn Tegai Hughes of the Press and Glyn Jones. In addition to the anthology, the two volumes of translations of hen benillion by Glyn Jones published by Gwasg Gregynog, When the rose-bush brings forth apples (1980) and Honeydew on the Wormwood (1984), are also discussed. Some notes and draft letters are written on papers pertaining to Yr Academi Gymreig.
