William Glynne-Jones (1907-1977) was a novelist from Llanelli, Carmarthenshire. Before he started earning his living as a writer in London, he worked as a moulder in a steel foundry in Llanelli. His novels and stories deal mainly with working class-life and children. He wrote two novels, Farewell Innocence, and Ride the White Stallion, both published in 1950. His children's' books include Legends of the Welsh Hills, 1957. He also collected earlier material include the journal of the Rev. George Capper.
