Frances Evans was great-granddaughter of Joseph Jenkins the Welsh swagman, and one of the depositors of his Trecefel and Australian diaries at NLW and Vic. State Lib. respectively. She started a red kite feeding station at Tyndomen, Tregaron. She died 2009.
