Cyfres EA2. - Estate vouchers,

From about 1867 the estate appears to have settled on an accounting year that ran from Michaelmas to Michaelmas. Also from 1867 the vouchers are numbered in their original bundles, which are gathered together under heads of expenditure such as rates and taxes, subscriptions, estate repairs, establishment and office, game, and garden. Farm appears as a separate bundle, 1892-95, Hafodygarreg Farm, 1895-1900, Bryniau Brithion Farm, 1897-1900, and Home Farm, 1900. The series ends with the vouchers for 1917. With the exception of bundles of Voelas vouchers for 1938, 1943 and 1944, the remainder are loose items that have been gathered together. Many of the vouchers have been damaged by water and/or mould, and are frail and fragmentary. The bundles of numbered vouchers have not been examined to check that every voucher is present.
