Content and structure area

Scope and content

The diary, 1812-1815, of the Reverend Edward Jones, Wesleyan Methodist minister [see Bathafarn, 18 (1963)], consisting mainly of brief references to his preaching commitments and reflections on his spiritual condition. The volume appears to be the second in a series of three, the first (1808-1812) and third (1815-1820) of which have vanished but extracts from which, together with an autobiographical account of his life up until 1808, were published in Yr Eurgrawn Wesleaidd, 14 (1822).
