Notebook, 1949-1964, containing holograph poems by the Anglo-Welsh poet Thomas Harri Jones, comprising fair copies of his compositions, dated May 1950-September 1964.
The notebook was presented to the poet by Delia Glanville in 1949 (see T. Harri Jones 1921-1965, ed. by P. Power (Cardiff, 1987), no. 88) and contains poems written in London and Portsmouth, England (ff. 1-98), and Newcastle, New South Wales (ff. 99-306). Also included is a cutting, [1965], from an Australian newspaper, of an article on T. Harri Jones, written following his death. Many of the poems were published for the first time in The Complete Poems of T. H. Jones, ed. by Don Dale-Jones and P. Bernard Jones (Cardiff, 2008).

Papers of and relating to Thomas Harri Jones, [1956]-[2007], an Anglo-Welsh poet and to the publishing of his biography entitled T.H. Jones : poet of exile (Cardiff, 2001) by P. Bernard Jones and Don Dale-Jones, and a collection of his poems Lucky Jonah and other poems (Llanrwst, 2004) in The corgi series edited by Meic Stephens. The correspondence, 1992-2004, relating to the biography is between the two authors and Madeline Mitchell, widow of T. H. Jones and the papers include a typescript of his critical study on Dylan Thomas published in 1963, 'The birds of Rhiannon', a comedy in three acts, and three short stories by him, together with a BBC script 'Homage to a poet' written and read by Edward Richards, transmitted in 1965. Also two sketches of T. Harri Jones, one by M. Hew, [1960s].
