= Material relating to the struggle on the part of the residents of the village of Llangyndeyrn during the first half of the 1960s to save theirs and other communities in the Gwendraeth Valley from being drowned by Swansea Corporation in order to create a reservoir to meet the domestic and industrial needs of West Glamorgan. The material was collated by the Reverend William Merfyn Rees, secretary of the Llangyndeyrn Defence Committee, and his son, Hywel Gealy Rees, editor of the book Sefyll yn y Bwlch: Brwydr Llangyndeyrn 1960-1965 (Y Lolfa, 2013) (see note below). The items include two files containing 1960s press cuttings chronicling the Llangyndeyrn residents' struggle, together with more recent press cuttings; letters of support for the stand taken by Llangyndeyrn's residents against Swansea Corporation sent to Reverend W. M. Rees; material relating to notable dates, celebrations and anniversaries in the history of Llangyndeyrn's fight for justice; and references to books and poems commemorating the success of the fight. Several items are annotated, most likely in the hand of Hywel Gealy Rees.

Appended are printed notes detailing the nature and location of non-print material which forms part of this archive and which has been transferred to other departments within NLW; together with a printed list of notable dates in the history of Llangyndeyrn's fight for victory.

The collection known as the Archdeacon A. O. Evans Manuscripts is a group of manuscripts given to the National Library by Albert Owen Evans. They include correspondence and papers relating to A. O. Evans.

A collection comprising documents relating to the families of George Wade Green of Court Henry, Richard Thomas Howell of Bryncaerau, Francis Green of Denmark Hill, and Peter Williams of Gelli Lednais; also material relating to Cadwallader Jones, Collector General of the Customs to Charles I.

The archive includes papers and letters of members of the Anwyl family of Chester, 1848-1983, including letters to Sir Edward Anwyl, Welsh scholar.

Personal archive of material relating to Gwasg Gregynog accumulated by the donor during his time as a director and trustee of the Press, 1998-2018.

Sub-fond A comprises papers related to Ann Jones's campaign for domestic fire safety measures in Wales, centering on the devolution of powers to the National Assembly for Wales for this purpose and the resulting legislation; the Domestic Fire Safety (Wales) Measure, 2011, which required sprinkler systems to be fitted to all newly built or substantially converted domestic residences in Wales. Sub-fond B comprises material related to Ann Jones' campaign against the closure of the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service control room in Rhyl. Sub-fonds C comprises material related to the Children's Society's decision to withdraw from Wales, and Ann Jones' efforts in the the subsequent establishment of Tros Gynnal Plant to continue that work. Sub-fonds D relates to the restructure of the National Health Service in Wales.

An archive of papers relating to Ann Clwyd's political and campaigning activities in Wales, the UK and internationally. The papers include correspondence, reports, parliamentary and Labour party papers and cover matters such as international development, human rights, healthcare standards and animal rights.

A visitors book and two 'rotation books' (session lists) relating to the studio of the photographer Angus McBean, 1945-1987.
