Papers of the Rev. E. Tawe Jones (b.1890), comprising exercise books containing sermons and sermon notes, 1917-1969; school and college notebooks, 1907-1909; miscellaneous notebooks containing Biblical commentary, lists of baptisms, marriages and burials, etc., 1905-1964; loose notes and press cuttings, 1919-1969; and papers acquired by him, consisting of notebooks of sermons by Rev. Llewelyn J. Jones, 1932-1936; and a notebook, 1842, containing sermons by the Rev. Joseph Jervis, Congregaionalist minister of Pen-y-graig, near Carmarthen.

The papers consist of the personal papers and letters of, and acquired by, Evan Richards of Nanthenfoel, 1823-1872; family correspondence, 1826-1891; unproved Cardiganshire wills, 1805-1847; and miscellaneous documents of Cardiganshire interest, 1787-1853.

Papers, 1871-1921, largely comprising historical and other material by, or collected by, Evan Owen which relates to the Welsh Baptist churches in Liverpool and surrounding districts, together with material relating to the temperance movement in Liverpool and surrounding districts, and to Baptist churches and the temperance movement in other parts of England and in Wales. Also included in the collection are essays on theological subjects by Evan Owen; letters, 1877-1921, addressed to Evan Owen; and material relating to Susannah Owen, wife of Evan Owen.

A collection which comprises poetry by Lewis Robart ('Llywelun Ddu Myirion') and a book of hymn-tunes and anthems belonging to him, and sermons by Evan Lewis, Cilgwyn (1788?-1864).

Manuscripts, [1453x1454]-1911, from the library of Sir Evan Davies Jones of Pentower, Fishguard. They comprise a fifteenth-century genealogical chronicle of Welsh and English rulers; an album of watercolour drawings of churches and other notable features of north and mid Wales compiled by the artist David Parkes; transcripts of monumental inscriptions in Tenby parish church; a journal of a tour of Wales, 1836; a volume of music, including works by John Parry (Y Telynor Dall); a volume of pedigrees transcribed by Edward Stanton Roberts; and seventeenth-century Welsh poetry.

Papers of the Reverend Erastus Jones relating to his contribution to the Ecumenical Movement in Wales, including papers of such movements as the Welsh Ecumenical Society, the Council of Churches for Wales and the New Advance in Wales, including correspondence, minutes, some accounts and other papers; papers relating to his work and ministry in Blaendulais, 1948-1967, and his work within the community of Aberfan after the disaster of 1966, including minutes of various committees, correspondence, publications, accounts and papers relating to the Blaendulais Ecumenical Centre and Tŷ Toronto; papers relating to the Ecumenical Movement in Wales in general and relating to contacts in Europe.

Papers relating to Equilibre Horse Theatre, Abercegir, near Machynlleth. Items include material relating to marketing, recruitment and mentoring, the hiring and input of collaborating artists and the running of workshops, media productions, funding and awards; posters, flyers, etc relating to events and productions; preparatory research and creative notes; employment/health and safety policies; accounts and expenditure; minutes of meetings; and correspondence.

The fonds mainly comprises photocopied newspaper cuttings, 1982-2001, covering various issues relating to the work of the Equal Opportunities Commission Wales. Subject matter includes topics such as age, bullying, child care and maternity, disability, discrimination, education, employment, Europe, homosexuality, language, politics, racism, religion, successful women, training, women in employment, women in sport, and women in the arts. There are also press cuttings relating to The National Assembly for Wales, International Women's Day and Valleys Regeneration. The fonds does not include any administrative papers or correspondence.

Additional papers comprising a small collection of the Equal Opportunities Commission records, including papers relating to the Commissioner for Wales, Equal Pay Task Force papers, 2000, and Quinquennial Review, 1997, together with a collection of printed publications. This group has not as yet been catalogued.

The first group consists of papers of Emyr Humphreys, 1908-1993, comprising mainly correspondence, 1930-1993, including personal correspondence, 1939-1993, correspondence between parties other than Emyr Humphreys, 1930-1993, and correspondence relating directly to his work, 1942-1994, and his interests, such as the arts and politics, including papers relating to Plaid Cymru and Gymdeithas yr Iaith Gymraeg, 1956-1992; volumes, published and unpublished, [1946]x1991; short stories, in manuscript and typescript form, together with some poems and scripts and unidentified prose, 1937x1981; articles, reviews, adjudications and lectures, c. 1949x1993; radio and television scripts, including scripts containing references to Emyr Humphreys, with contributions by him and reviews of his work, 1946xc. 1993; poems, 1936xc. 1993; together with miscellaneous items, which include a file of official publications, circulars, memoranda and related papers (c. 1945-1946) relating to the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration in Italy, and Welsh and English newspaper cuttings, 1908-1990.
