The G. T. Clark Manuscripts are mainly the genealogical, archaeological, and historical papers of George Thomas Clark (1809-1898). -- At the end of the group (NLW MS 5231-5234) is a portion of the 'collectanea', relating to the history of Glamorgan, of William Davies, Cringell, near Neath.

Papers of, belonging to, or relating to George Gilbert Treherne Treherne, [1885x1924], containing for the most part material of antiquarian and historical interest. They include: notes, extracts and transcripts relating to Wales (particularly Carmarthenshire) and elsewhere, including etymological notes on place-names; extracts from Carmarthenshire tithe records of the 1840s; extracts from and notes on pedigrees relating in part to Carmarthenshire; correspondence, 1890-1924, mainly on antiquarian topics; press cuttings, 1911-1923, including an article on Treherne; draft and preparatory notes towards a work on Laugharne and the surrounding areas; an interleaved and annotated copy of Treherne's Notes on the Dedication of the Church in Honour of Saint Margaret Marlos (London, 1904); an annotated copy of Treherne's Eglwys Cymmin Book of Epitaphs (Carmarthen, 1919); and a typescript copy of G. G. T. Treherne's autobiography.

Research papers and correspondence, 1982-1997, relating to the Montgomeryshire Place-Names Project, including map data entries and notes on place-names; material on etymology, 1981-1994, including correspondence and notes for talks and lectures; papers, 1971-1995, deriving from G. G. Evans's work as tutor at the Montgomeryshire College of Further Education; minutes, correspondence and papers, 1969-1996, relating to a large number of committees on which Evans served; miscellaneous correspondence and papers, 1953-1995, mainly concerning Evans's scholastic and writing work; and research notes and papers, relating to Evans's publications and other research projects.

A small collection consisting of a notebook and legal and other papers of George Stephens, governor of the county gaol, Carmarthen; journals of William Davies, Pumpsaint, midshipman; and a play by George Arbour Stephens entitled 'Carmarthen. A Historical Episode ...'.

Deeds and documents, 1660-1922, from Bronwylfa, Llandderfel, partly relating relating to the Fronheulog estate and to the Williams family of Fronheulog and Menairafon, Angelsey, and partly relating to other properties, probably belonging to the clients of Messrs Anwyl and Davies, solicitors, and printed matter, mainly Acts of Parliament, 1816-1850.

Papers of, or collected by, Evan William Evans, Dolgellau, 1808-[1921x1925], consisting mainly of material of Dolgellau local historical and religious interest, including rate assessments and valuations, accounts, rentals, chapel records and other records, 1813-1877; agricultural, timber, slate and other account books, 1823-1879; papers of T. Mordaf Pierce, including correspondence, essays, sermons and material relating to Dolgellau history, 1894-1914; material relating to Calvinistic Methodism in Llanidloes and Dolgellau, 1808-1918; and correspondence, 1850-1921, mainly addressed to Evans.

This collection comprises translations into English of foreign works, mainly French, dealing with political and religio-political thought, socialism, Saint-Simonism, etc., together with translations of three works on the Breton language.

The fonds contains papers relating to his career in the church, 1909-1960, and personal papers, including papers relating to various members of his family and papers reflecting his antiquarian interests, [c.1850]-1980.

The fonds comprises a substantial group of letters and papers, 1911-1972, acquired by Frances as private secretary to Lloyd George, including some business papers, notebooks of reminiscences and printed items. There are letters from a number of prominent politicians and public figures. There is also a small group of letters and papers, 1912-1965, concerning Lloyd George himself, papers, 1933-1946, relating to Jennifer Longford's schooldays, and a few papers relating to other members of the Stevenson family, notably Frances's sister Muriel and brother Paul. The material in sub-fonds G was loaned by Mrs Ruth Nixon of Camberwell to the National Library of Wales to be digitised in March 2013 and subsequently returned to her a few months later. Some of this material was subsequently purchased by NLW in 2017 and catalogued as sub-fonds H. The 2017 purchase includes various articles about Lloyd George, a draft memorandum partly in the hand of Lloyd George and partly in the hand of Frances Stevenson regarding the early part of the First World War, letters from Frances Stevenson to her family, including some from the Versailles Peace Conference, notes following Lloyd George's speeches and papers relating to Jennifer Longford including letters between her and Lloyd George.
