A collection from the library of John Davies, much of which comprises correspondence and sermons, but also includes translations of segments of the New Testament, with commentaries; lectures; poetry; essays; a commonplace book; an account book; almanacs; miscellaneous papers, notes, etc.

Papers of John Fraser and E. C. Quiggin, relating mainly to the publication of poems from the Book of the Dean of Lismore, [1913]-1937, and including scrapbooks bearing transcripts of poems from the Advocates Library Gaelic Manuscripts and from the Bodleian Library Rawlinson B 477; and six notebooks containing notes on Irish texts, Old Irish grammar, Welsh grammar, Gaelic personal and place names and Gaelic grammar.

Documents collected by Col. Sir John Conway Lloyd, including over a thousand deeds, 1323-1870, relating to properties in the counties of Brecon, Glamorgan, Hereford, Monmouth, Radnor, Cardigan, Carmarthen, Gloucester, and London; together with various documents, including letters and papers relating to the Lloyd family and other estates. In addition, the archive consists of deeds and documents, 1588-1864, mainly of industrial interest accumulated by John Lloyd (1833-1915), pertaining to the New Weare ironworks, Goodrich, Hereford; the Hirwaun ironworks; the Beaufort Iron Company, the Clydach ironworks; the Dowlais Iron Company; and the Bute Works. A substantial group of Dinas Estate records has been transferred to the Maybery Collection.

Personal and family papers, 1881-1969, of John Meredith Lloyd Jones, Conwy, including entries for eisteddfodau, 1881-1910; scrapbooks relating to the Liverpool Scottish Regiment, 1914-1916; notes on mainly religious subjects, 1907-1969; army papers, 1942-1946; diaries, 1943-1946; correspondence and papers relating to India, especially to the Christian community there, 1943-47.

Comprises letters, 1957-1997, to John Morris, mainly of political interest. Many of the letters are from John Morris's Aberavon constituents. In some cases there are copies of his replies and/or drafts of his replies, prepared to be typed up by a secretary. The letters cover a wide range of subjects, mainly governmental affairs and the work of various governmental ministries and departments, above all the Welsh Office. Many letters concern the Labour Party, its various committees and its internal affairs. Many of the letters are from constituents who make enquiries and refer problems and difficulties to their Member of Parliament. Some also concern the framing and implementation of various pieces of legislation. There are also many subject files, 1951-1995, divided into British subjects, Welsh affairs, many of these concerning devolution, and constituency matters. The subject files relating to British politics nationally include material on a wide range of subjects including defence, disarmament, education, the EEC, parliamentary elections, the environment, foreign affairs, housing, the Labour Party, leasehold reform, local government, pensions, the steel industry, transport, and specific pieces of parliamentary legislation. The files on Welsh affairs include material on the Welsh Office, the Labour Party Wales, the Crowther/Kilbrandon Commission and devolution, the Development Corporation for Wales, and the Welsh language. Thirdly, there is a group of printed, typescript and manuscript materials and diaries, 1943-1991. A further file, being Lord Morris's earliest drafts of the chapter on Kosovo (chapter 21), for inclusion in his book 'Fifty Years in Politics and the Law', published in 2011, was received in Februay 2013. This file is under Embargo during the lifetime of the donor. Further donations of material were made in Augist 2015 and August 2015. These remain uncatalogued although photographs have been transferred to photo albums and videocasettes, sound cassettes and DVDs have been transferred to the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales.

The music manuscripts, [1808x1879], mainly of John Orlando Parry, together with a few concert programmes relating to his performances. Also, journals, diaries and other manuscripts of John Orlando Parry.

The collection comprises correspondence and papers, 1982-1998, relating to the activities of the Campaign for a Welsh Assembly, later the Parliament for Wales Campaign. They consist of minutes of meetings, strategy documents, press statements, press releases, discussion documents and press cuttings.
