Papers of Frederick G. Gurney, 1886-1947, including family correspondence, mainly from him to his nephew, Robert G Heley, concerning family, genealogical, literary, and antiquarian matters; drawings and watercolours by him; and books on Welsh literature.

The fonds comprises records of the Fellowship of Reconciliation ('Cymdeithas y Cymod yng Nghymru'), 1939-2001, including minutes, correspondence, newsletters, periodicals and newspaper cuttings. A further collection of newspaper cuttings were received in October 2014.

Material largely relating to scripts and screenplays submitted to Ffilm Cymru; together with further Ffilm Cymru material, which includes proposals for film/television adaptations, casting and funding applications, employment enquiries, contracts and agreements, accounts and invoices, card indexes and correspondence.

A collection of manuscripts of Edmund James Jones (d. 1914), Fforest Legionis, Pontneddfechan, comprising miscellaneous papers, mostly poetry.

Payne, 1920-1990, including letters to (and copy letters from), 1924-1981, relating mainly to his study of Welsh folk history and in particular his research into the history of agriculture in Wales; letters to Ffransis Payne, 1938-1978, relating to his research into the history of the plough and agricultural implements; general correspondence, 1932-1989; and letters from Iorwerth Cyfeiliog Peate, 1927-1971. Also research notes and other miscellaneous material including articles, letters, photographs, illustrations, transcripts of poems, and printed items relating to the donor's study of early agriculture in Wales, Welsh folk culture, Radnorshire poets and their patrons, Welsh poetry, and pedigrees. There are also some papers of Mrs Helly Payne.

Deeds, plans, wills, marriage settlements and other papers, 1709-1940, relating to the Ffrwdgrech estate, Llanfaes, Brecknockshire, and to lands in neighbouring parishes.

Records of the Ffynone estate, Manordeifi, and Rhosygwilen estate, in Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Cardiganshire, comprising deeds, probate records, settlements, etc., 1441-1915; estate and family letters, 1679-1915 (mainly 1733 onwards); rentals, 1837-1853, 1914-1915 (Ffynnone estate) and 1827-1837 (Rhosygwilen estate); and letters and accounts, 1787-1852, relating to various collieries in Pembrokeshire including Creswell, Jefferston Mountain, Hook, Amroth and Redlangoige. The archive also includes bank-books of the Tivyside Hunt, 1851-1855; muster rolls, letters, orders, orderly books, circulars, etc., of the Pembrokeshire militia, 1778-1876, but mainly 1778-1800 when Lt. Col. John Colby commanded it, including papers relating to the militia's tour of duty in Ireland, 1799-1800, which include papers relating to the trial and execution of Walter Baker, sentenced to death for conspiracy at Mallow, Ireland, 1799; papers relating to John Colby's court-martial, 1800; and deeds, accounts, and estate and family letters, 1786-1823, relating to the Orielton estate in Pembrokeshire and Anglesey, following the appointment of John Colby as receiver of that estate as a result of a legal dispute between members of the Owen family over the administration of the estate during the minority of Sir Hugh Owen.

There are no records relating to the later history of the Company.

Scrapbooks of photographs, notes and press cuttings, 1862-1992, relating to Penrhyn-coch and to St John's Church; an essay by Florrie Hamer's aunt, Sarah Ann Hamer, concerning the history of St John's, 1897; accounts and balance sheets, 1930-1988, of St John's Church; undated notes relating to the Church and to Penrhyn-coch, [1909x1989]; notebook, 1925-1931, of Daniel Hamer; and letters, 1964-1965, to Florrie Hamer concerning Plas Tanybwlch, Aberystwyth.

NLW MSS 3641-4252 belonged to William Floyd (?1810-?1898), who spent many years at the Public Record Office - he applied for a ticket as from Bridgend, Glamorgan in 1856 - and in the British Museum engaged in research in the various types of records relating to the history of England and Wales preserved in those two institutions. With a few exceptions, most of which are described at the beginning of the collection, all the volumes are Floyd's notebooks and memoranda books. His collection, which had been presented to the London Library, of which he had been a member since its foundaton in 1841, was by that body transferred in 1899 to the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth at the time when the Welsh Library Committee of the College was accumulating material of Welsh interest to form a nucleus for the projected national library for Wales.

Deeds and documents relating to the estate of the Foley family of Ridgeway, Llawhaden, Pembrokeshire, mainly in that county, 1365-1869, together with letters, 1815-1851, from the agents and solicitors of Mrs Emily Foley relting mainly to her estate in Kent.

Minutes, 1893-1986, and 2005-2006, of the meetings of the council of the Football Association of Wales and its committees as well as other material such as match programmes, together with a folder containing amateur international match records, 1908-1955.

The fonds comprises a substantial group of letters and papers, 1911-1972, acquired by Frances as private secretary to Lloyd George, including some business papers, notebooks of reminiscences and printed items. There are letters from a number of prominent politicians and public figures. There is also a small group of letters and papers, 1912-1965, concerning Lloyd George himself, papers, 1933-1946, relating to Jennifer Longford's schooldays, and a few papers relating to other members of the Stevenson family, notably Frances's sister Muriel and brother Paul. The material in sub-fonds G was loaned by Mrs Ruth Nixon of Camberwell to the National Library of Wales to be digitised in March 2013 and subsequently returned to her a few months later. Some of this material was subsequently purchased by NLW in 2017 and catalogued as sub-fonds H. The 2017 purchase includes various articles about Lloyd George, a draft memorandum partly in the hand of Lloyd George and partly in the hand of Frances Stevenson regarding the early part of the First World War, letters from Frances Stevenson to her family, including some from the Versailles Peace Conference, notes following Lloyd George's speeches and papers relating to Jennifer Longford including letters between her and Lloyd George.

The fonds contains papers relating to his career in the church, 1909-1960, and personal papers, including papers relating to various members of his family and papers reflecting his antiquarian interests, [c.1850]-1980.
