Morgan Humphreys' great-grandfather, the Rev Richard Humphreys, and of his grandfather, the Rev Edward Morgan, [1800]x1953; articles, radio scripts and addresses by E. Morgan Humphreys, 1902x1955; together with some personal and family papers, 1841x1955; articles, poetry, adjudications and letters to the editor of Y Genedl etc., by T. Some of the family correspondence was published in 'Some Nineteenth Century Letters', in The Transactions of the Honourable Society of Cymmrodorion, 1925-1926.

Gwenogvryn Evans (1910)) inscribed to and annotated by Egerton Phillimore; a postcard note addressed to Egerton Phillimore from minister, academic and lexicographer Daniel Silvan Evans relating to place-names referenced in the Book of Taliesin; and a newspaper cutting, 17 August 1916, containing a review of Llyvyr Taliessin.

E.H.T. Bible's natural history diaries, recording sightings of birds, mammals, sea creatures, insects and plants, mainly in and around Aberdyfi, Wales, with notes on location, species, identification, habits, migration patterns and weather conditions. Names of species are often underlined in red ink. Instances of dead animals, egg collecting, fur dealing, trapping and shooting are recorded, and the need for protection acknowledged. The observations of others are frequently noted, including Dr J.H. Salter and Miall Jones, both of Aberystwyth, Wales, and Mary Richards of Dolgellau, Wales. There are touches of humour in Bible's descriptions of encounters with animals and people. Gardening activities are noted in the later diaries, and, from 1943, rainfall records are kept. Most of the diaries are labelled 'Fair Copy', but the series includes two small notebooks containing draft versions.

The fonds comprises letters, 1928-1999, to Lady White, diaries, 1936-1984, papers, 1907-1994, reflecting her career as a Labour politician, papers, 1859-1994, concerning her outside interests and activities, records, 1950-1996, deriving from Lady White's involvement in Welsh political and public life, and material, 1960-1990, concerning her activities in educational matters. There are also family papers, 1892-1992, including some relating to Lady White's father Dr Thomas Jones CH (1870-1955) and to her husband John Cameron White (1911-1968). There is also a substantial group of press cuttings and other printed material, 1919-1997. A further two boxes of papers were received in January 2007; this group remains uncatalogued.
