Records of Messrs David and David, comprising records of valuations of properties in South Wales and the adjoining counties of England made during the period 1846-1933, including Breconshire, 1872-1912; Carmarthenshire, 1865-1884; Glamorgan, 1846-1926; Monmouthshire, 1867-1933; Gloucestershire, 1875-1880; Herefordshire, 1874-1881; and Somerset, 1876-1885. The records include surveys, reports, valuations, correspondence, notes, plans, valuation schedules, sale notices and copy agreements. Many of the records reflect the industrial and urban development of South Wales and quite a number of the individual valuations are of land subject to compulsory purchase by railway companies and public utilities.

Papers relating to the activities of David Davies, Llandinam, including relating to contracting in the construction of railways, the establishment of the Ocean Coal Co. Ltd, legal papers collected for the 1883 and 1884 Barry Dock Bills, and his son Edward Davies's letter-books.

A collection comprising Cribyn Unitarian Church register with records dating from 1826 to 1899, and including church accounts, 1851-1852, and a brief history of the church and a list of ministers, 1790-1877; together with papers of the Rev. John Islan Jones, Cribyn, Unitarian minister, which include letters, 1915-1918, whilst Jones was on active service, and a journal containing an account of tours taken by Jones, 1915-1916.

The music manuscripts of the composer David Harries, 1952-1995, comprising mainly drafts and scores of chamber and instrumental music, orchestral music, choral and organ, and voice and piano arrangements.
A second donation made in August 2021 contains further music manuscripts of David Harries, 1953-1993, and includes works by Harries' contemporary William Mathias (1934-1992) in addition to Harries' own compositions of chamber and instrumental music, orchestral music, choral and organ, and voice and piano arrangements.

Account books, 1864-1932, of Richard Watkins, Trecastle, Breconshire, and an account book and manuscript roll, 1867-1923, relating to Trecastle Calvinistic Methodist church, of which the Reverend David Henry Williams, son-in-law of Richard Watkins, was minister from 1912 to 1933.

The collection comprises business records of David Hughes & Sons, Aberdyfi, namely ledgers, 1878-1946, day books, 1888-1913, account books of receipts, 1870-1905, a bank account book, 1937-1943, and a file of bills and invoices, 1927. There is also a notebook containing minutes and other records of the Sunday school of Tabernacl C.M. church Aberdyfi, 1892-1893, and a notebook containing brief details relating to the Aberdyfi Burial Board, 1909.

Manuscript oratorios, operas, orchestral pieces, choruses, melodies and other musical compositions (including the four Welsh Airs arranged for choir and full orchestra premiered at the Crystal Palace, 1896); an autographed notebook containing solfa versions of Welsh melodies arranged for male voices, 1915; correspondence, 1934-1935, relating to the proposed publication of a memorial volume to Jenkins by nine of his contemporaries ('Er Cof am yr Athro David Jenkins Gan Naw o'i Gyfoedion'); music exercise books, 1877-1881, and a volume containing blacksmith's accounts, Trecastell, and particulars of payments to preachers, 1796-1810.

Literary manuscripts of David Jones, with manuscript drafts of In Parenthesis: Seinnyessit e gledyf ym penn mameu; The Anathemata: Fragments of an attempted writing; Epoch and Artist: Selected writings by David Jones; The Sleeping Lord and other fragments; The Dying Gaul and other writings, and The Roman Quarry and other sequences. There is a substantial body of letters to David Jones from friends, editors and others, 1910-1976; draft letters from David Jones to friends, newspaper editors and others, 1929-1982; and letters by David Jones, 1919-1985, published in Dai Greatcoat: A self-portrait of David Jones in his letters. There are some examples of David Jones' art, and material relating to David Jones as an artist, as well as personal documents, financial papers, family papers, photographs, and accumulated research material.

Records of the David Lloyd George Statue Appeal Trust, including minutes of meetings, correspondence, financial records, papers associated with the commissioning of the statue, files related to obtaining permissions to erect the statue, brochures, arrangements for fundraising events, arrangements for the unveiling and press reports. the papers also contain a collection of cartoons from the magazine 'Punch', most of which feature David Lloyd George.

The fonds comprises the personal and professional papers, 1896-1997, of the Welsh tenor David Lloyd, including corresondence, diaries, personalia, contracts, BBC scripts, hymns and songs, concert programmes and items relating to performances at the Glyndebourne Festival, at Copenhagen and in the United States and Canada; together with a group of papers reflecting his student days at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London.

Manuscripts, [1790x1937], by or belonging to, the Reverend David Morgan Lewis. The material is largely of Congregational or Welsh literary/historical interest and includes sermons and sermon notes; volumes of hymn-tunes and material relating to Welsh hymn-writers (including Ann Griffiths) and their work; lecture notes and essays; tour journals, [1889]-1906, of David Morgan Lewis; and an album mainly of Congregational interest compiled by John Lloyd James ('Clwydwenfro').
