Yn NLW MS 23304D ceir saith llythyr oddi wrtho at ei wraig gyntaf Caroline, tra'i fod yn teithio Gogledd Cymru ar droed, ynghyd â nodiadau botanegol, 1855. Yn NLW 485E ceir derbynneb gan William Pamplin ac yn NLW 4481B ceir catalog o lyfrau Saesneg, Cymraeg a rhai tramor oedd ar werth ganddo yn 1892.

Fifteen volumes of Wiliam Pamplin's diaries can be found in NLW MSS 7492-7506B; notes and sketches of a tour, 1854-1855, in North Wales made by him in NLW MS7509C; correspondence in NLW 7507C; and a number of other manuscripts relating to local history in North Wales in NLW 7514-7516B. In NLW 7514-7516B there are seven letters written by him to his first wife Caroline, while he was on a walking tour of North Wales, together with botanical notes, 1855. There is a receipt by William Pamplin in NLW 485E and a catalogue of English, Welsh and foreign books offererd for sale in 1892 by him.
