A volume originally used as a register of the Baptist church of Ffynnonhenri, parish of Cynwyl Elfed, co. Carmarthen. It contains records of baptisms, excommunications, restorations, and deaths, 1808-1842, and of births and registrations, 1790-1838; accounts, being largely particulars of collections towards meeting the debts on Baptist meetinghouses, 1810-1817 and undated; and a memorandum of the rebuilding of the third meeting-house at Ffynnonhenri in 1823. From 1815 onwards the volume is in the hand of David Evans, minister of the church, who has added copious notes of sermons (of which one is dated New Year's Day 1853) and a few personal accounts and memoranda. The first leaf of baptisms, containing thirty-two entries, is wanting. The paper is watermarked 1807. There is a list of contents ('Cynnwysiad'). The upper cover is lettered 'Coflyfr eglwysig a nodiadau yn llawysgrifen y Parch. D. Evans, Ffynnonhenri'.

A collection of some forty-five unbound home-made notebooks and fragments of such notebooks containing sermons and expository notes largely in the hand of John Piers (Pierce), vicar choral of Caerwys in the diocese of St. Asaph, sinecure rector of Caerwys, and rector of Llandderfel. Two of the sermons, in English, were preached at Caerwys respectively on New Year's Day, 1641/2, and the first Sunday after Trinity, 1643, and another, in Welsh, at Llandderfel on 14 February, 1663/4. The collection also contains, in other hands, a transcript of, or selections from, the Catechism and Confession of Faith by Rob[ert] Barclay, 'a Quaker of Scotland', which was first published in 1673; a notebook of sermons by 'Mr. Turner', [16]93; and a transcript of a carol by Hugh Moris, 1707, entitled 'Ymddiddan rhwng y gwir Brotestant ar Eglwys'.
