John Browne & Sons, iron merchants, Norwich, concerning the detention of a vessel and the insurance effected on a cargo of iron from Newport to Yarmouth; and an invoice, 1 November, 1845, from Clydach Iron Works to Messrs. John Browne & Sons for a shipment of iron from Newport to London.

Fitchett and Wagstaff to the surviving executor and devisee in trust to James Kyrke, esq., trustee for the sale of the estates, etc., 1825-1831, touching the sale and title of the Brymbo and other estates in Wales, the sale and title of estates in Staffordshire, the same of the Rotherhithe property, the sale of the Tividale estate, the appointment of a new receiver in the room of Thomas Turner, esq., deceased, loans of £40,000 and £13,200, general business, business in specified lawsuits, etc.; and bills of costs of Samuel Edge, 1830-1831, to Messrs. Wilkinson, Legh, and Murray, touching a mortgage to secure £40,000 and the conveyance of the Little Vownog estate. Also included in the group is a proof ('20 Feb. 1901. Stanford. Long Acre') of a photocopy of a letter, 12 July, 1712, from Abr[ah]am Darby from Madely Court to Wi[llia]m Rawlinson (Ralleson), near 'Kandell', Westmorland, relating to the writer's projects for the manufacture of iron, the enclosed Swedish method, the recipient's dispute with Hall over the increase in the price of wood, etc.
