Papers, 1936-1986, of literary journalist, editor and poet William Ronald Rees Jones (Keidrych Rhys), comprising a significant amount of correspondence, 1936-1986, from numerous individuals, largely in the recipient's capacity as editor of Wales magazine and including literary articles, poetry, etc. submitted for publication; miscellaneous papers, 1936-1938, 1943-1969, relating to the Wales magazine and consisting mainly of publicity and editorial material; articles, both published and unpublished, and notes, [1950s]-[1960s], by Keidrych Rhys, mainly relating to literature and the arts; and drafts of apparently unpublished poetry, [1950s]-[1960s], by Keidrych Rhys.

A letter, 1980, writen by Keith Best to the Secretary of State for Wales, Nicholas Edwards, was donated by Rhys Evans, Cardiff, in 2002.

Miscellaneous letters and accounts, 1688-1831, relating to the Kemeys and Kemeys-Tynte families of Cefnmabli, co. Glamorgan, including letters, 1740-1752, to and from Sir Charles Kemeys-Tynte, 4th bart, and two letters, 1751, relating to the illness of Lady Mary Kemeys.

Estate and family records of the Kemeys and Kemeys-Tynte families of Cefnmabli, Monmouthshire, including surveys, valuations, rentals, and accounts, 1570-[early 19 cent.]; probate records, deeds, and legal papers, 1586-[1850s]; geneaological papers, 1694-[mid-18 cent.]; and correspondence, 1642-1888. The main interest of this archive lies in the correspondence relating to political events and affairs, especially for the late seventeenth century. The archive also includes a survey of the estates of Henry, earl of Pembroke, in Glamorgan and Monmouthshire, 1570, and a rental of the estate of the regicide Henry Marten, [c. 1652].

Research papers of Kenneth E. Skinner, 1911-1979, mainly notes, photocopies and manuscript and typescript transcripts of unpublished material collected by Dr Skinner while undertaking research in Britain and Argentina for his doctoral thesis 'The relationship between the Welsh colonies in Chubut and the Argentine government'; printed material and periodicals, 1921-1979; and a photograph album of views of Chubut.

The fonds comprises papers relating mainly to Kenneth Griffiths's work as a documentary film-maker with some material relating to his work as an actor and to his personal interests, friends and family. It includes typescripts of interviews, research material and correspondence relating to several of his productions including work by and on: Zola Budd, Horacio Nelson, Dr Ambedkar, Roger Casement, the Boer War, Michael Collins, Cecil Rhodes, David Ben Gurion, Stanley Morrison, the American War of Independence, the 24th Regiment in the Zulu War, Emily Hobhouse, Baden-Powel and Alfred Dreyfus. The fonds also includes a manuscript copy of his autobiography The Fool's Pardon, two boxes of newspaper cuttings relating to Kenneth Griffiths's life and work and two boxes of miscellaneous correspondence dating mainly between 1998-2001.

The papers comprise music manuscripts of the composer and viola player Kenneth Harding (1903-1992), comprising scores and instrumental parts of orchestral works, chamber music, songs and a number of works for the viola.

A copy of the late Kenneth Milligan's incomplete typescript work 'Corner of Wales. An historical account of the country west of the River Conway...from the earliest times to the present day'.

A pedigree, 1680, of the Kerry family of Binweston, Worthen, Shropshire, containing twenty-five coats of arms, all emblazoned and painted. It is a copy, with continuation, apparently by Thomas Fr[ancis, of Montgomery], from a Lewys Dwnn original of 1598. The pedigree is traced from Gwrgene, Lord of Yal and Bromfield [?Gwernen ap Gwaeddgar], Llyr ap Maenyrch, King of Gloster [Llyr Marini], and King Pelenaur [Pellinore or Pelinor], as well as Cadell ap Rhodri Mawr and Severus [ap Cadwr Wynwyn].
Comparison with NLW MS 23219G, a 1792 copy of the pedigree, suggests that the present roll was created as the pedigree and achievement of Edward Kerry (d. c. 1698) of Binweston, the original achievement now having been lost from the foot of the roll. Several arms originally emblazoned 'or, a lion rampant regardant gules, armed and langued azure' seem subsequently to have been over-painted 'party per saltire, azure and ermine' (NLW MS 23219G shows the latter arms); all the arms have suffered from the loss of pigment.

Pedigree and achievement of Edward Kerry (d. ca. 1698), Binweston, parish of Worthen, Shropshire, traced from Gwernen ap Gwaeddgar, lord of Bromfield and Iâl, Llyr Marini, king of Gloucester, and King Pelinor, with twenty-five other coats of arms, all emblazoned and painted, apparently copied by Joseph Patrick, 1792.

Inset are letters from [Doctor] F[rederick] Wilson, Newtown, to Mr. [Alexander] Anderson [secretary of the Association ], [19]05 (a promise to give a magic-lantern lecture on 'Infection'), and from John Naylor, Leighton Hall, Welshpool, to [ ], [19]05 (accepting the presidency of the Association for the ensuing year).

Letter-book of Thomas Bowen of Pen-bre, co. Carmarthen, superintendent of the Kidwelly and Llanelly Canal and Railway Co., comprising an inventory of the company's records, 1831 (ff. 1-4), copy and draft letters, 1838-1840 (ff. 5-136 verso), a humorous poem on the failures of an anonymous colliery proprietor (ff. 151-5) and an arithmetical problem in Welsh, English and Latin (ff. 155 verso-6).
