More than one hundred letters, 1674-1684, from Sir Leoline Jenkins (1623-1685), lawyer and diplomatist, English representative at Nimeguen, 1676-1679, and Secretary of State, 1680-1684, to Sir Richard Bulstrode (1610-1711), diplomatist, who was envoy at Brussels, 1676-1688.

They include a copy order on his call to the Bar by Lincoln's Inn, 1883; the printed minute of his appointment to the Privy Council, together with a covering letter and a printed form of the oath, 1916; an autograph letter, 1926, from Arthur James Balfour, 1st earl of Balfour, lord-president of the Council, to Sir Lawrence Jenkins, on the occasion of the latter's retirement from the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council; and press cuttings.

Four autograph letters, [?1840]-1841, from [Sir] John S[alusbury] P[iozzi] Salusbury, adopted son of Gabriel and Hester Lynch Piozzi, to the Rev. Thomas Raffles, Liverpool, mainly concerned with the exhibiting of Raffles' collection of autographs by the [Liverpool] Royal Institution (ff. 2-3).
Salusbury also refers, 9 December 1841, to [the Rev. Thomas] Pennant, son of Thomas Pennant of Downing and Salusbury's tenant at Brynbella (f. 4).
