Biographical notes by the donor on the artist Frances Emily Bridgeman-Simpson's (1810-1886), Babworth Hall, Nottinghamshire, who had connections with the Hafod estate, Pontrhydygroes.

A manuscript notebook which belonged to D. Thomas Davies containing notes of lectures, 1899-1900, delivered by Professor Edward Edwards at University College of Wales Aberystwyth, session 1899-1900, on the history of Wales down to 1600.

Two typescript papers by the donor John Dorian Evans entitled 'The coal mining industry and government policy' (December 2006) and 'Cwmgwili colliery, 1960-1992' (December, 2009).

A card which was originally designed as a Christmas card by the artist David Jones (1895-1974) for Faber and Faber, London, showing a figure playing the viol, 1961, but sent to Marged and Elwyn Evans, parents of the donor Sara Dobson, 16 May 1962.

A short biographical sketch of Dr Mary Williams (1883-1977), linguist and former Professor of Modern Languages, University College, Swansea, written by the donor's mother shortly after the subject's death in October 1977.

Addresses relating to the political scene in Wales, written by Saunders Lewis on behalf of his daughter, Mair Saunders Jones, the donor; three are from the late 1940s and another from the 1950s.

A visitors' book of Eglwys Newydd yr Hafod church, Cwmystwyth, Ceredigion, May 1923 to July 1935. Over one thousand four hundred and fifty visitors were recorded during the period May to September 1932 after a fire destroyed the church.

A piece of card on which is mounted an albumen print from Hudson's Series titled 'From Dolly's Road, Llanidloes' on one side and four siver gelatin prints dating from 1897 on the reverse. Two of these are of committees, one of the Town Council on Jubilee Day (ie Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee) and one is of a performance of the Messiah on 6th May 1897 in China Street chapel.

Miscellaneous personal, parish and estate papers belonging to the owners of the Bathafarn and Llanbedr estates, 1758-1863.
They comprise lists of Denbighshire freeholders, 1758, [18th cent.]; extracts from the records of various Denbighshire parishes, 1811-1837; diary entries and other personal papers of John Jesse, 1822-1863; financial and personal papers of Joseph Ablett, 1814-1828; estate and household management records from Llanbedr Hall, 1829, 1856-1859; and papers concerning medical matters and the history of Lancashire, [c. 1787], 1823-1863.

An account book bearing the name of John Evans, grocer, Oswestry, 2 May [18]50. All the accounts, however, have been cut away, leaving only a few memoranda.

Photocopies of crew agreements and log sheets of the ship Mimosa from its maiden voyage in 1853 to the last one in 1872, and including the voyage which took emigrants to Patagonia in 1865. The donor is the author of Mimosa: the life & times of the ship that sailed to Patagonia and its companion volume Mimosa's voyages : official logs, crew lists and masters (Talybont, 2007).

Photocopies relating to the genealogy of Benjamin Williams III whose great grandfather Benjamin Williams (d. 1896) emigrated from Wales in 1853 to the United States and was one of the early Welsh settlers in Middle Granville, New York .

Photocopies of papers relating to Llyfr Melyn Tyfrydog (NLW MS 23969F) which is a volume in the hand of Hugh Hughes ('Y Bardd Coch o Fôn). The originals are in the possession of the donor John Iwan Parry Hughes, a descendant of Hugh Hughes, and include photocopies of his family tree and the family crest .
