A copy of an additional talk by Professor Richard Loomis entitled 'Growing up in Wyoming Valley', relating to the reminiscences of the Rev. Dr Richard Owens and Dr Roy Morgan, and given to the St David's Society of Wyoming Valley, 17 November 1999; together with a transcript of his conversation with Roy Morgan.

Two notebooks relating to choirs in Llandybïe, Carmarthenshire, conducted by D. J. Griffiths, father of the donor, including lists of members of the tonic sol-fa class, 1902, and the children's choir, 1903; reports on the performances of the various choirs, 1903-1917; minutes of meetings and accounts of the United Choir, 1906-1907; together with programmes of local eisteddfodau, 1917, in which the choir took part.

Nine volumes relating to members of the Stepney-Gulston family of Derwydd, Llandeilo, co. Carmarthen, and elsewhere, including an account book, 1894-6, diaries, 1906-7 and 1957-61, and notes and extracts, 1902-3, by Agneta Justina Stepney-Gulston (1882-1996).

Records of the Bradford and District St David's Society ('Cymdeithas Dewi Sant Bradford a'r Cylch') including photocopies of the Society's minute books, 1929-1949, including minutes of executive committee meetings and annual general meetings; rules of the Society, and press cuttings relating to its activities; together with typescripts of the first part of the history of the Society, 1902-1914. Additional records were donated in April 2001, comprising photocopies of minute books, 1966-2000, including minutes of executive committee meetings and annual general meetings; together with a photocopy, in English and Welsh, of a brief history of the Society which was presented to the Trelew Eisteddfod committee during Mr Glyn G. Roberts's visit to Patagonia in Oct. 2000.

Photocopies of works by Robbit Jon Clow (Robert John Armstrong, 1877-1952) comprising an incomplete memoir of his mother entitled 'The Life of Frances Edwards' (1838-1921) written in a manuscript volume, dated 1932, which also includes the autobiography of Matthew Owen (1769-1839), cousin of Goronwy Owen (1723-69), and grandfather of Frances Edwards; together with an undated pamphlet The Royal Charter containing biographical information relating to Frances Edwards, with an account of the events leading up to the tragic end of the ship 'Royal Charter' which hit the rocks at Moelfre, Anglesey, on 26 October 1859 (Frances Edwards visited the scene of the disaster). She was also related to the Rev. John Elias (1774-1841) and, in 1860, she emigrated to Australia

A photocopy of the autobiography, in Welsh, of Trevor Axworthy's great grandfather, John Coslett Thomas (1863-1936), who was born in Tredegar, emigrated with his family to Chubut, Patagonia, in 1875, and to Bangor, Saskatchewan, Canada, in 1905, and settled, about 1920, in Los Angeles; together with a pedigree of the Canadian branch of the family, from the eighteenth century to the present day.

Papers, 1997-1999, relating to the Techniquest / Pan Tecnicon Millennium Award funded by the Millennium Commission, entitled 'Cycling to Work' (a panoramic landscape photographic project), submitted by the photographer Paul Brewer (b. 1946), including the original application; project details; contract and letters supporting his application; marketing and Techniquest correspondence; budget details; monthly financial reports; and certificate; together with correspondence, 1995-1996, relating to the Gold Medal in Fine Art which was awarded to him for monumental photographs at the Bro Colwyn National Eisteddfod 1995, and to the exhibition 'Seven contemporary artists from Wales' held at John Martin of London, March 1996.

Manuscript and typescript drafts, [1970s]-[1995], by Glyn Jones of his unfinished poem 'Seven Keys to Shaderdom', on which the version published in The Collected Poems of Glyn Jones, ed. by Meic Stephens (Cardiff, 1996), pp. 111-131, was based.
The published poem consists of seven sections with a prose Prologue, represented in the manuscript by multiple drafts (ff. 1-202, 208-224). Section I was previously published as 'Shader's Vision' in Poetry Wales 19.3 (1984), 51-2, the Prologue and Sections I-III appeared as 'Prologue and Three Fragments' in Glyn Jones, Selected Poems, Fragments and Fictions (Ogmore-by-Sea, 1988), pp. 133-144, and Section V was published in Poetry Wales 28.2 (October 1992), 18-19. The manuscript also includes other material including drafts and fragments of other poems, notes, images and completed lines (ff. 203-207, 225-279). Some leaves re-use miscellaneous letters, newsletters, television drama scripts and other papers. A self-portrait sketch in ink by Jones is on f. i verso.

A photocopy of a translation into Welsh, mostly in manuscript, by Eryl McDonald de Hughes of the novel El Evangelio y Don Eduardo (Buenos Aires, 1991) by Roy Centeno Humphreys, and an English translation 'Go Patagonia, said Edwin' by the latter of his novel Go Patagonia, dijo Edwin (Argentina, 1993), both of which relate to the Welsh colonization of the Chubut Valley and were declared works of National Cultural Interest by the Argentine Government in 1996; together with Roy Centeno Humphreys's curriculum vitae and photocopies of research papers including letters to Edward Humphreys, genealogical notes, and reviews of the novels, mainly in Spanish. The author is the great grandson of Elizabeth and Morris Humphreys, who came to Patagonia aboard the Mimosa in 1865; copies of both novels have been transferred to the Department of Printed Books.
