The archive contains papers relating to Morris' work at the University of Wales, Lampeter; papers concerning his work within the church; papers relating to Scouting; a group of personal papers; material compiled by Morris whilst a student, and papers relating to Morris' published works.

Deeds and documents, 1672-1872, relating mainly to properties in the parish of Llanfihangel Cwm Du, Brecknockshire. They also include some probate documents, extracts from parish registers and financial papers.

The fonds comprises material dating between 1963 and 2001, consisting mainly of correspondence, [c.1970]-2001, between the Federation and various musical societies on matters of financial aid and membership fees, providing a valuable overview of a wide range of musical activities throughout Wales. It also contains correspondence with other arts organisations and bodies, both national and regional, copies of rules, constitutions and accounts of the various constituent societies as well as programmes, leaflets, posters and other printed ephemera, covering the period from 1963 to 2001. Several files contain papers relating specifically to the Federation's internal committees. Only one file relates to the Federation's own administration.

Papers, [1861x1911], of or relating to David Stephen Davies and which include manuscripts of some of his published works; material relating to Y Celt and to the Welsh colony in Patagonia; diaries; sermons and miscellaneous notes. Some of the earlier material was written by Davies while he was living and studying in the United States.

Music manuscripts, 1935-1995, of Denis ApIvor, including those of his operas She Stoops To Conquer, Yerma, Ubu Roi and Bouvard et Pécuchet, as well as solo and choral works (including The Hollow Men), songs, concertos, chamber music, etc.

A collection of manuscripts in the hand of John Edwards (Meiriadog) (1813-1906), Llanfair Caereinion, which include a Welsh grammar, essays, addresses, poetry, correspondence, hymn tunes, and miscellaneous notes and drafts.

Papers of 'Rhuddenfab', comprising correspondence, a diary, poems, hymns, adjudications, essays and articles; papers, 1880, relating to the centenary celebrations of the founding of Sunday schools; and an essay by, and in the hand of, Daniel Owen, 1888.

A collection comprising correspondence, poetry, notes, extracts and miscellanea (mainly relating to religious matters), an account book from Haverfordwest, sermons by several individuals, a journal of Timothy Davies, Caeronnen, and hymns by Reuben Davies ('Prydydd y Coed').
