Papers and letters mainly concerning the drainage of Cors Fochno, particularly referring to Ynysfergi and Ynyslas, 1857-1899; an envelope on top of the bundle is entitled ‘Borth drainage and Ynyslas embankment’. The file also includes letters concerning the rights of the lord of the manor of Genau’r-glyn to wrecks in the foreshore of the river Dovey, under a proposed Dovey Reclamation scheme. The letters are addressed to G.G. Williams, Sir Pryse Pryse and Pryse Pryse Pryse, from Boys and Tweedie, 1857-1899; Thomas Savin, 1866, Cambrian Railways, 1881-1883, F.J. Webb of the Land Drainage Offices, Evesham, 1881-1882, the Land Loan Enfranchisement Company, 1882-1886, and H.J. Wyley of Bridgnorth, 1882-1887, with occasional copies of replies.
