Agreement for the sale of the interest of Walter Powell and the late john Powell, dec., in the Clydach Ironworks, in consideration of payment of £3,669 to satisfy Walter Powell's private demand on the partnership and £34,000 to the said Walter Powell and the executors of John Powell. Messrs Powell to obtain a release from all debts due to Messrs Wilkins & Co., except for a sum of £6,000 and from all other debts of the co-partnership, the £6,000 to be secured to Messrs Powell by a mortgage on freehold property belonging to the co-partnership. This agreement was cancelled by a declaration to this effect signed by E. Frere and Messrs W. and J. Powell on 1 April 1820.
