Brec., gent., Rees Williams of Tuynewydd, co. Brec., gent., Henry Jones of the town of Brecon, builder, Thomas Davies of Llanfrynach, innkeeper, and Rees Jones of Llanfrynach, co-partners. Agreement (draft) for a period of 21 years to deliver at the coalyard of Wain y lygen belonging to Messrs Kendall & Co. in p. Llangattock, Crickhowell, co. Brec. or at any other place to be mutually agreed upon, 100 tons at last, but not exceeding 130 tons, of good coal each week, a ton to consist of 120 lb's to the cwt and to be weighted at the weighing machine of Messrs Joseph and Crawshay Bailey adjoining the B. & A. Canal, the suppliers agreeing not to sell coal to others persons for the Brecon market or any place within 7 miles of Brecon, at a price of 6s. per ton.
