Agreement (3 draft copies), confirming an underlease from Edward Kendall, William Hibbs Bevan and William Henry West to Joseph Bailey and Crawshay Bailey of the veins of iron ore and seam of coal and other privileges granted them in a lease of 25 June 1821 (see 130) for the term of the said lease, subject to the payment of rents and other covenants therein and of a further rent to Messrs Kendall, Bevan and West, in exchange for a lease to them from Joseph and Crawshay Bailey of the vein and seam of coal called the Beaufort Big Vein lying under so much of a tract of hilly land therein described, for 49 years from March 1820.
