Abstract of title (1721-1801) of Sir Mark Wood, bart, to a customary farm and lands called Great House Farm, lying at the Lamby in p. Rumney and the manors of Rumney and Kensham, co. Mon., purchased from William Morgan of Watford, co. Glam., gent. The abstracted deeds refer to 3a. of land free from fine and two m's, two gardens, a fishery and 41a. of finable land, all in the manor of Rumney (as described in 1721), 16a. of land comprising Short Lands (2a.), land lying in Lamby (7a.), Barcroft (5a.), and land lying between Barcroft and Lamby (1a.), all in the manor of Rumney (1721), 3a. of free land and two m's, 11 cottages, a wharf, a fishery and 59a. of finable land, all in the manor of Rumney (1725), 6a. of finable land in p. Rumney and manor of Kensham (1724).
